For us at Butler, testing and certification is a natural part of the delivery – and an important part of quality assurance.
Demands from DNV
All products are designed, built and tested in accordance with applicable requirements and standards. These requirements are often defined by DNV, and the testing is carried out to document that the product works as intended in use.
In many cases, it is sufficient to test the product and obtain a test certificate from an independent third party. When the project requires it, we also offer full DNV certification. DNV follows the process all the way – from design and calculations to the actual testing and final approval.
This provides predictability both for us and for the customer, and ensures solutions that are documented and ready for use – whether offshore or automation.
